The Collection Album

I adore this album and created a collage to show people what it looks like before they see it at their ordering appointment. It has also been helpful for grandparents who want to purchase the collection of 5x7's but aren't sure what the album and presentation box look like as they live out-of-town and aren't able to meet with me in person.

Another year, Another favorite series

I photographed this little girl this time last year and it was one of my favorite sessions of the summer.  She and her wonderful parents have done it again for me this year. : )

At two years old, little N ran and ran for much of the session, really keeping me on my toes!  I love the energy she has and the 6th photo down shows how she was leading the way for the portraits...always staying one step ahead, even while holding her teddy bear. 

We started the photo session at home in the kitchen where we started last year.  I adore the light that comes in through the windows there and it was so wonderful to see the series of wall portraits hanging there from last year.  As much as N had changed in the past year, her sweet expressions remain the same.  Thank you, K, W & N for such a wonderful session.  I hope you enjoy this preview and then your slideshow!

Springtime Sisters: Portraits at the UW Campus

I'm so happy to finally post again!  I'll be posting several sessions on one day and am more than thrilled to start with these adorable sisters.  

We rode together to the University of Washington Campus for the session with beautiful trees and brick walkways for the background.  These sweet girls obviously enjoy each other's company so I was able to capture some great portraits of them together.  We also got some fun family shots and several good close-ups for the wall!  The ones below are of each of the girls under their umbrellas...so cute.

Multiple Blog Entries Coming Soon...

Hello from the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains: I'm in Johnson City, Tennessee.  Ryan and I are here in search of a potential place to live.  With one week left in our Seattle home when we get back, life was busy, busy before we left and will be so when we get back.  I have about 8 - 10 blog entries to post so be looking for those over the next few days  I have a wonderful couple session that started at Pike Market and ended at Gasworks Park with beyond ideal weather and fantastic photo subjects.  Thanks Jen & Robbie!  I also have several family sessions, a little guy from Bainbridge Island, a first birthday party and much more.  Thanks for checking-in!  The new entries are coming soon!

Shhhh...A Father's Day surprise!

Most of you know I'll be moving across the country in a few weeks.  So in preparing for that while finishing all final sessions and portrait orders, I'm a bit behind on the blogging.  I am working little by little to get it all done so thank you for hanging in there with me!

FYI: The session below is a surprise for this little girl's dad's first Father's Day!  If you happen to know this family, please be sure to keep the session/session photos a secret.  Thanks so much.

Baby A couldn't have been a dreamier subject.  She was content the entire session and her eye contact never ceased to amaze me.  We held most of the session in a bedroom where beautiful light shone through the windows.  With such a sweet subject and such a perfect setting, you can just can't go wrong.  I love that A's mom thought of this incredibly special gift for Father's Day, something I know will be cherished always.  

Thank you, T, for an incredible photo session.  I can't wait for S to see the full slideshow and to receive the final portraits on such a special day.
