The rain this year has seemed endless at times but it has allowed for some of the most beautiful spring colors I've seen. On another perfect morning at the Arboretum, I photographed 18 1/2 month old J among soft pink and yellow flowers and bright spring greens. I have been photographing her since she was brand new at only two months old! It's amazing to see her running around in the grass, carefully touching flowers, playing peek-a-boo and telling me, "Byeeeeeeeee!" at the end of her sessions.
Watching all my little photo subjects grow up is one of my favorite parts of being a children's photographer. I often see them in some of their earliest moments with their parents, as in this little one's case, and over time I witness so many more of their life milestones. Being able to document such a variety of these moments is something I'll always cherish.
Thank you H & G for such a beautiful session with J in her adorable ruffled dress! It was just the right outfit for this background (as were the jeans & top). : ) I look forward to sharing the full slideshow with you!
You are right, what beautiful colors!
